What is a Vertical Solar Station?
Vertical Solar Stations are Generation Dense Solar Deployments that feature panels an all or most outer faces.
They outperform angled panels in the equivalent ground space in both summer and especially in winter.
Better Annual Yields
Vertical Solar Stations produce 2-3 more energy in the same ground space vs equivalent angled panels through the year.
Optimised for Winter
Vertical Solar Stations produce more energy in winter, using predictable indirect radiation, generating more energy when it is most valuable.
Store & Power Equipment, vehicles
Vertical Solar Stations provide a secure enclosure for equipment or vehicles that can use the power generated
What can they be used for?
2024 April V3 Enclosure Performance

Why do they work?
Deploying C (traditional approach) delivers the best overall yield during the day (for 3/4 of the year).
However, C has an opportunity cost of preventing deployment of B, D and E.
With the same 200w solar panel:
C delivers 175W peak
E delivers 110W peak
B or D delivers 150W peak
A and all of B-E deliver 15W each but very predictably each day all through the year.
B+E provides improved performance vs C and improved winter performance.
A+B is similar to C but provides improved winter performance.
A+B+E provides improved performance vs C and improved winter performance and forms a secure enclosure.

Discuss your application with us
We can provide full Design, Manufacture and Deployment for Vertical Solar Stations. We are also open to licencing discussions for territories across the globe.

Core IP Development and Enclosure Design
We have 2 core architectures for enclosure development:
Open Deployment utilised flexible panels which are difficult to compromise for deployment for example in areas where the public have access.
Structural Solar utilises solar panels themselves to for the outer faces of a given enclosure. We

Manufacture, Deploy and Support
Open deployment enclosures comprise 2.5mm Stainless Steel enclosures, whereas structural solar uses a combination of external solar panel faces, steel framing and internal composite steel panels.
We have manufacturing partners in the UK covering all aspects of Vertical Solar Station manufacture
& partner with Victron Energy for internal electronics and Fogstar Limited for protected LFP cells.

Licence
Our PCT Applications cover the solar architecture we use for Vertical Solar Stations, embodiments of these for fixed power or which allow vehicles or cells to be stored and removed and also Structural Solar.
We are interested in talking to Licensees in relation to specific industries in one or more territories throughout the globe.
